Even if you're not interested in using your practise to set yourself up in business, the fact that you can help your family and friends to be the healthiest they possibly can, is huge motivation for learning this ancient therapy.
If, on the other hand, you DO want to become financially independent and free to work when and where you choose, then this is also the perfect skill for you to acquire! All you need is your hands! No massage beds to hike around, adding physical stress and you don't need lots of products to purchase in order to perform a treatment.
It's the perfect career for mums who want to earn money when the children are back to school, but need the flexibilty to chose the hours they work to accommodate the family's needs
I'm currently holding interviews in Marbella with potential students for Reflexology, prior to the start of my next course which begins mid September. Interviews will begin 7th August and run through until 21st August.

The course will be held on Tuesdays from Sept 2009 until March 2010 for those already qualified in Anatomy & Physiology.
For those who aren't yet, there will be an additional morning on Fridays to cover this important subject.
I'll also be teaching Anatomy & Physiology with Holistic Massage.
All my classes will be held a the Shanti Som Academy in Cancelada and all are fully certified by ITEC.

You do not need to hold any previous qualifications to study Reflexology if you just want to treat family and friends.
You do however, need to hold a qualification in Anatomy & Physiology if you wish to set up as a business and charge clients for treatments.
At The Health and Beauty Academy at Shanti-Som, you can study both ITEC Reflexology and ITEC Anatomy & Phyisology along side each other.
This means as soon as you have passed them both, you can get insurance and begin working, by either setting up your own business, or working for someone else in a clinic or salon etc.
Either way, you'll be able to start earning straight away! And in these trying times...that's always good news!
